The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele.
Must be willing to learn, be detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
Kennel Assistant
Responsibilities:
Transport animals to and from the kennels.
Ensuring that the animals have fresh food and water at all times.
Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, hair, and other debris from the kennels, runs, and sanitize kennels after dogs leave.
Disposing of Trash.
Playing and Interacting with the animals during turn-out times, providing a safe environment, resolving any behavioral issues and aggressiveness.
Reporting to the owner (Angelia Jensen) of any significant changes in the dogs.
Maintain cleanliness by performing tasks such as sweeping/mopping floors, wiping shelves, cleaning tops of kennels, washing and sanitize pet bowls.
I am currently a dog breeder of Corgi puppies so daily interacting with the puppies when litters arrive.
Light maintenance.
Kennel Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience caring for animals will be advantageous.
Regularly demonstrates sincere concern for the care, attitude, and behaviors of the dogs.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Fit, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
A passion for dogs of all shapes and sizes.
Must work well with the owner, work independently, and be self-motivated.
Have a good attention to cleanliness.
Must be punctual and dependable, tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated.
I am currently a dog breeder of Corgi puppies so daily interacting with the puppies when litters arrive.
Available to work the morning shift (8:
30-11:
30) and more hours if required.
More flexible hours will be available.
The job will require a dress code.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
