- Support the lead teacher in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Assist with planning and organizing age-appropriate lessons and materials.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Experience - Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Familiarity with math and literacy education for young children.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals.
