You will be responsible for dispatching work for technicians using logical organization based on location as they receive service calls and maintaining daily schedules for these technicians.
You will also spend a great deal of time speaking to customers, so friendliness and a professional demeanor are important in this position.
Job Description Schedule shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy.
Assign work to the correct technician level Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly Ensure each warranty RO has a vehicle history attached Complete a dispatch log daily and turn into Service Management at end of shift Maintain a record of carryover vehicles Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and closed when work is completed Other duties could be required based on discussion Work days and hours are M-F/ 8 to 5 Compensation for this position will be $20 per hr Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent.
