Looking for an Operations Director who has knowledge of mental health and substance abuse clientele.
Job Description and Purpose Responsible for the organization and management of the daily operations, with primary attention and focus on facilities maintenance alongside Health & Safety duties and staff management.
Assists the Executive Director in providing direct training and oversight to operations to ensure that services are being delivered in a manner that is consistent with best practices.
The Director of Operations will also provide psycho-educational/process groups when necessary.
Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities -Provide direct customer service that is in keeping with facility standards.
-Execute sound time management and prioritize tasks in a manner that will allow for execution of multiple tasks in a timely manner.
-Demonstrate ability to learn new policies, treatment modalities, procedures and be able to relay to the team effectively.
-Take initiative when identifying program/staff needs and execute plans once approved.
Be available/flexible for changes in daily routine and needs related to ACA blocking.
Maintain client confidentiality according to legal and ethical boundaries.
Maintain appropriate/professional boundaries with both clients and staff.
-Complete shift notes and clinical documentation that meets both qualitative and quantitative standards.
-Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain trust/rapport with clients on consistent basis -Communicate with the staff and management/leadership team in an effective and professional manner.
-Maintain knowledge of all current company policies and procedures.
-On occasion engage in marketing / networking activities and represent the interests of the facility.
-Provide direct training to operations staff, including new hire orientation/training and ongoing training/performance improvement.
-Work with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals to plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress, and effective action plans for regular maintenance -Staff scheduling, staff training - Clinical Support Technician/Support staff management -Hiring of new staff as needed -Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements -Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation of support processes and organize them to enhance customer/client satisfaction i.

-Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors/laboratories /medical/ pharmacy -Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations on supplying house with essentially everything they need to operate - Anything from pens to fire extinguishers, furniture, house maintenance, vehicle maintenance, clinical curriculum, drug tests, house supplies, etc.
-Main contact for Drug Testing Lab, Physician's Office, Pharmacy Health & Safety
Responsibilities:
o Conduct monthly Health & Safety rounds at the house and document all findings on corresponding checklist, reporting for (PI) o Schedule and conduct emergency drills at the facility o Reports any findings related to Health and Safety and the facility immediately to the Director and PI Committee o Report issues weekly, monthly and quarterly, (as needed) consulting with Director and implementing corrective action plans o Provide development and implementation of facility-wide safety policies and procedures.
o When applicable, will provide educational programs for staff related to Health and Safety issues Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Required -Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems and various recovery resources in the community.
-Demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage multiple moving parts throughout the facilities clients and staff.
-Demonstrate the ability to facilitate problem resolution when necessary.
-Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.
-Strong knowledge of appropriate personal and clinical boundaries, a consistently positive attitude, and the ability to deal with difficult, uncertain, and stressful situations in a positive manner.
-Ability to communicate clearly, with clients, staff, peers, supervisors and stakeholders.
-Basic knowledge of referrals, both in and out of the organization -Knowledge of company operations and processes.
-Knowledge of Joint Commission standards -Must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities.
-He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to provide client care and navigate daily happenings.
-Ability to communicate clearly, with clients, staff, peers, supervisors and non-facility resources.
Minimum Qualifications Following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position.

-Must be at least 18 years of age -A minimum of high school education, with GED accepted -Flexibility to adapt to schedule -Class C Driver's License -CPR/First Aid certification required, obtain upon employment and maintain current thereafter.
-Criminal Background Clearance and drug screen required -Health Screen required -Negative TB Test Results required -Develop computer skills adequate to perform word processing duties upon employment.
-Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination must be adequate for performance of job duties.
Able to sit at a desk, use keyboard, write and physically perform other job duties.
Able to move about the facility to observe clients and staff.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of Bachelors' Degree in related field At least two years' experience in the corporate and health care fields Job Type:
